MathMan! Tutoring

"The essence of mathematics is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple." [S. Gudder]

About the MathMan

My name is Richard Pabst, and I am a retired Electrical Engineer possessing a BSEE (Rutgers Univ.) and MSEE (Northeastern Univ.) with over 30 years of applying math to real-world problems in the design of communications systems and designing embedded processor cards aimed at specialized real-time data processing.

Since retirement I have volunteered in 7th and 8th grade math classrooms, and been a substitute in math classrooms from 5th through 8th grades; I have the reputation of "knowing the material" and being eager and able to teach it! In addition, I have taken the MTEL (Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure) in math (grades 5-12), and passed with a score of 93 out of 100. I currently hold a MA "teacher's license" and am considered "Highly Qualified".

I tutor in Framingham and neighboring Metrowest Boston communities, including Natick, Sherborn, Marlboro, Sudbury, and Southboro. We can also meet in a mutually agreed place, such as a local public library.

I encourage an introductory consultation to get to meet each other, and to determine how to reach YOUR objectives!
